- Q. How do I get a login name and password for my web site?
- A. Your login name and password are automatically created when TestOil sets up your account. Your login name and password are embedded in the “Sample Completion” email (see #3 above). You can call TestOil anytime to acquire this information. You enter your login and password through our “Customer Reports” menu item found on http://testoil.com.
- Q. How do I get sample supplies?
- A. All sample supplies are absolutely FREE. The easiest way to get supplies is through your web page. Click on the “Supplies” button and enter what you need. Make sure the shipping address is correct and hit “save”.
- Q. How can I get labels to put on my sample bottles?
- A. The functionality of printing labels is available through the customer web page. The “Sample Labels” button allows you to print any label you require. All you need is the Avery 5163 label sheets. TestOil can provide your monthly label sheets if you choose not to use the label feature on your web page.
- Q. How do I set up equipment in the program?
- A. TestOil provides an “Equipment Registration Form” for sample set up. The form is available under the “General Files” button on the customer web page. We ask that you fill this out as best you can in order to improve the quality of our oil testing. If you do have a large database to set up, TestOil can accept this same information in an Excel format.
- Q. Can I import oil data into a resident software package?
- A. Yes. TestOil has a number of data import templates presently in use. If you have a particular application which you would like to get your oil analysis data into, let us know and our IT department can develop a solution.
- Q. How do I get answers to questions on my report?
- A. Call us, email us, fax us. There is someone here 12 hours a day who can find answers to your questions. Our phone number is 1-800-TESTOIL. Our web page is http://testoil.com.
- Q. How do I know when samples are scheduled for sampling?
- A. Part of setting up your database is establishing a sampling frequency. We will email you a monthly reminder of machines due for sampling.
- Q. Can I get a quick review of my monthly sampling activity?
- A. Another handy feature of the customer web site is “Summary Report”. You have the ability to view all your sample activity over a given time period (e.g. monthly, quarterly, annually) and see which samples are critical, marginal and normal.
